SKUDO - Water and oil proof anti-stain water-based approved for food contact - Tenax

SKUDO UNIVERSAL is a water and oil proof anti-stain water-based. It is suitable for marble, granite and natural stones polished honed, brushed, flamed or rough. It is suitable for Terrazzo, concrete agglomerate and engineered stone too. The application  recommended  on kitchen top and generally on the surfaces that can come into contact  with  food substances and is necessary a certificate that shows this property. SKUDO UNIVERSAL  for food contact according with European rules 90/128  ECC. Recommended for outdoor and indoor application. The product is completely free of organic solvents.  SKUDO  UNIVERSAL operates on the surface of materials, it stops  microporosities  so that prevents liquids from penetrating the material but it remains permeable to vapours letting materials breath and keeping their characteristics unchanged.

Instructions for use

The product must be evenly applied on dry and clean materials. The presence of water, dust and dirty matter may influence the result regarding the uniformity of the surface. We suggest spreading the product using a brush, sponge, cloth or through a gun spray. Use the right quantity that the material naturally can absorb. Then, after few seconds, clean (buff) the surfaces by a cleaned cloth. The excess may create the superficial sticky films, so the excess must be removed immediately after the application. We  suggest  repeating  this  treatment  at  least  2  times  after  10-15  minutes  from  the previous application. The effect of anti-stain will be achieved after 48 hours from the treatment. In the case of floor application, do not walk on the surface before.

• Quantity to be used: Normally with 1 litre is possible to treat 20-30 square meters of stone. The consuming depends on a lot from the porosity of the material.
