IMPERSTON - ANTI-STAIN, OIL and WATER REPELLENT PROTECTING AGENT 

With its high degree of protection from infiltration, IMPERSTON is the ideal treatment for every type of stone surface (polished or grinded or simply rough), terrazzo, cement agglomerates, building tiles, bricks, unglazed gres, concrete or porcelain gres tiles IMPERSTON is specially recommended for the protection of marble and granite as the best defence in protecting work surfaces and floors in kitchens and bathrooms. The solvent formula eases the application “by refusal” (apply until no more product is absorbed from the surface) and allows a deep penetration; any way excess of product must be removed to avoid surface build-up after drying. IMPERSTON works by impregnation and does not form any film on the surface, nor in any way alters the natural colour of the treated materials and it is the ideal product to protect white and delicate marbles, very light colour or crystalline marbles such as CARRARA WHITE, PORTUGAL PINK, ONYX, THASSOS etc.

INDICATION

Protects against water, oil and grease: makes the surface stain resistant by preventing the formation of spot. It doesn’t anyway protect against acid substances.

HOW TO USE

Apply the undiluted product to clean and dry surface, by a clean cotton cloth or tampon, and let it penetrate. For very porous materials, it may be necessary to repeat the application one or two times more. Do not allow the excess product dries on surface, especially on polished surfaces, as it could be cause of streaking and clouding. The excess of product can be removed with a rag dampened with IMPERSTON or with buffing machine with soft pad. On porous surfaces a second application may be necessary after the first has dried.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Dries in 20-60 minutes (depending on ambient conditions and the kind of material). The protective action has full effect 24 hours after the application. The consumption will vary according to the porosity and absorption rate of the material and can be considered between 50 and 250 g/m².
