STRONG 2000 Consolidating Impregnator water repellent - Bellinzoni

Transparent protective consolidating no ascend water repellent based on siloxane resins. Used for the protection of buildings and stone artifacts against water penetration, humidity and the action of acid rain. It also has a consolidating action on stones friable and corroded, preventing chalking and the transformation of the stone in a flaking off mass. It also prevents the calcification of marble and stones caused by atmospheric agents, smog and acid rain. It is perfectly invisible and gives the pieces treated a wet or shiny appearance, keeping unchanged the original colour. It prevents the formation of mold. It reduces the ascent of salts considerably that may be present in the substrate or in the stone itself.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation:

The surface must be dry and clean; possibly stains, mildew, crusting must be removed, otherwise, their subsequent removal would be difficult.

Application:

Brush, roller, mop, fleece. It is recommended, where possible, brush application as it allows a better penetration and protection.

To use:

STRONG 2000 applied with a brush, pressing lightly to make it penetrate well into the cracks, corners and cavities. It is also possible to apply the protective using a dispenser to spray at low pressure, at a distance of 20-25 cm from the surface and being careful to blot any drips. Allow the product to air and the material will be protected. If after the application there were any surplus, remove them by rubbing with a cloth soaked in the product and, finally, dab with a dry cloth. During the application and subsequent drying, the temperature of the substrate should be between 10 and 30 ° C. In the case of application of floor with underfloor heating, turn off the heater and let the stone cool completely.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• It is advisable to apply the product until complete saturation of the stone.
• On very absorbent materials we recommend applying the product 2-3 times at a distance of about 20 minutes from the previous application.
• Do not dilute the product with other solvents or water as the preparation is ready for use.
• The material to be treated must be completely dry.
• Another application system, suitable for small pieces, may be the one for immersion; you can also use a sponge with the product and dab the material.
• Once treated, the stone material must be allowed to dry for 24 hours to complete polymerization occurs.
• In the case of treatment of statues, vases or decorative items outside, pay close attention to the gaps.
• Before use read the recommendations printed on the label and always carry out a preliminary test.

TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

APPROXIMATE COVERAGE PRODUCT

For the protection of marble and granite with a litre of the product, you can treat 15/25 m2, depending on the type and degree of finishing of the material. In the case of limestone, sandstone, marble/concrete with a litre of the product can be treated 5/15 m².

MAINTENANCE

For the maintenance of the material, we recommend the use of our LEM-3 detergent. In the case of wear of the stone and as required, we recommend a re-application of the product.
