FLEXIBLE DIAMOND DISC I DIA MX 100

I dia MX 100 by Sorma is a flexible diamond disc with velcro to polish dry or wet marble, granite, porcelain, quartz and agglomerate, replacing the classic silicon carbide abrasive disc. The I-dia MX diamond disc is designed for dry use with Velcro to perform the disk change quickly using a velcro backing pad. They are available in various grains to be able to roughen, smooth and polish all types of marble.

Sequence of application.

Marble:

• Removing cutting scratches: Gr. 120
• Polishing: Gr. 800 - Gr.1500

Granite:

• Removing cutting scratches: Gr. 60
• Polishing: Gr. 1500 - Gr.3000

Engineering Stone:

• Removing cutting scratches: Gr.120
• Polishing:  Gr.1500 (Gr.3000 absolutely not recommended)

Rotation speed.

Diam.100 mm. :

Recommended: 3000-5000 RPM

Max speed: 8600 RPM

Use with water:

In the processing of engineering stone such as: OKITE - SILESTONE - STONE ITALIANA - TECHNISTONE - CAESAR STONE it is essential to use water to avoid burning the piece during processing. In case you do not have a water sander, use a sprayer or moisten the surface.

Use:

• Make sure that the disc is fixed and centred on the pad
• Working flat
• Exert very little pressure while using
• Avoid overheating use fast movements during polishing
